Not Having a Dad

Dear Connie,

Having 2 moms can be hard to explain to people sometimes, but I don't care. I love having 2 moms! I have sometimes thought about having a dad but I have never obsessed about the thought or really think it would be nice to have a dad. I love my moms and I am proud to be their son. I don't want a dad, not that they are worse, but you never know what my family and life would be like if I had one. Sometimes people ask me: which one is your real mom? Like the one that gave birth too you? And I say: They are both my real moms, because it does not matter who gave birth to you, it matters who loves you, feeds you, and nourishes you. And they both do that.
